The cost to work with designers and decorators will vary depending on the scope of the project. We find it best to speak to your preferred decorating company or design studio to communicate your vision and where you’re looking to include their services. Although every project is unique, at Ivy + Piper we start each one with a 1-2 hour onsite or studio consultation which is billed at $1500. Once we’ve had this initial meeting to obtain a clear brief as well as workshop ideas on the spot, then we provide a clear scope of work and fee proposal. We do find that our clients tend to bring us in for the whole journey, as we’re specialists in executing projects from start to finish. From the initial residential or commercial design, through to the build, and finally decoration.

This file can include anything that captures the overall feeling of what you’re trying to create for your new space. It may include a variety of elements such as colour palettes or textures from a variety of inspirational sources such as fashion, art, travel, books and more. From a design point of view understanding your needs and why the current space isn’t working is also valuable.
